After placing our deposit on the property and booking our flights for the viewing, both Justine and myself proceeded to trawl the web for information on buying property in Spain. After gathering our information, most of it unfortunately was negative - which wasn't good news for us! We had a discussion and decided that we wouldn't proceed with the purchase or the viewing trip. It was only when we decided to cancel the flights and I found that we wouldn't get our money back, that we decided to proceed with the viewing trip. This is one occasion that I was pleased that BA has such a poor refund policy!

On arrival in Spain I was still quite keen on buying a property, Justine on the other hand was totally against it. Justine was not looking forward to the trip as she thought she would get the hard sell from Mike, that didn't turn out to be the case! By the end of the 2nd day of the viewing trip I was convinced that we had to purchase, but I didn't let on to Justine. I asked what she thought and she replied - "I cannot see a down side to going through with it". We are both now looking forward to taking ownership of our apartment on Terrazas - even though it will be 2 years away!

Your knowledge of Polaris and your professionalism were first class; your advice was both practical and realistic. You made sure that we saw everything that Polaris World had to offer us - everything we saw exceeded our expectations. The level of service you provide is exceptional and the personal touch really does make a difference.

Both Mar Menor and La Torre are fantastic, but what most impressed us is that Polaris have learnt that they can improve; this is clearly shown in the difference between the clubhouses in both resorts, the La Torre one is far superior to the one in Mar Menor. This gives a great deal of comfort knowing that Polaris are continuing to look to raise their already high standards.

I have already recommended Polaris World to friends, and in particular have recommended that they speak to Lighthouse."

We are back safe and sound in rather chilly, although dry and bright (at the moment !) Berkshire.

We both thoroughly enjoyed the weekend - thanks to you (and Polaris) for your hospitality. Whilst we didn't expect, on an "inspection trip", to be put up in some dodgy "hole", the hotel accommodation and food was absolutely first class, as of course was the company - i.e.: you !

You will now appreciate that I was always very much wanting to progress the purchase, albeit, that I had some reservation at committing to something that is 2+ years away in an area I know nothing about !, but Dominique was very sceptical about the whole idea !

We read horror stories of people parting with their hard earned savings and literally being conned, and left with nothing, however, whilst there remains an element of risk, I am / we are satisfied that we now understand the risk and have done everything to minimise the risk.

Polaris seem to have adopted an "American / northern European" strategy to their organisation and certainly their marketing, with a strong professional team, "proper" plans and agreements, and glossy brochures and sales centres.

To then take this marketing "dream" and actually make it happen is of course the key, and it is evident that Polaris are capable of delivering on their promises.

The two "up and running" developments at Mar Menor 1 and La Torre are absolutely first class and must be seen to be believed - the infrastructure in place at such an early stage is amazing and the work in progress Polaris have at La Torre and Hacienda Requelme is massive and shows their commitment to the projects.

We are both very excited about our investment and can only hope that Terrazas de la Torre will be designed and built to the same quality.

Thanks again for your efforts in showing us the company, the product and the location, all of which seem first class and create the Polaris "Lifestyle".

It is obvious that you are an admirer of the product, in the knowledge you have of it and the way in which you speak of it, and of course the proof of your commitment is in having a couple yourself.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Polaris to anybody and of course, I would recommend that they speak to someone who has a passion for Polaris and will assist in them making the right choice for them - that's you by the way !
